A voluptuous, black leather sofa with the quality build and stylish good looks you would expect from its Danish origins. It’s a contemporary piece, date stamped ‘1996’ underneath but with a definite nod to its midcentury forebears. There are subtle curves that soften the look of this large piece of furniture. We love how the end back and inner arm cushions are one, flopping over the frame, inviting you to rest a weary hard perhaps. These cushions have a definite pillow-like quality. We’ve been unable to attribute it with 100% confidence. It could be a Mogens Hansen later piece, it could be Stouby. Either way, it’s a catch.
